MBR System in Industrial Waste Water COD Removal
The main function of MBR membrane is to prevent the loss of activated sludge and reduce COD by intercepting high concentration activated sludge concentration through filtration.
MBR is a new and efficient sewage treatment process that combines efficient membrane separation technology with traditional activated sludge method. It uses MBR membrane components with unique structures to be placed in an aeration tank. After aerobic aeration and biological treatment, the water is pumped through a filter membrane and then extracted.
The core component of QDEVU MBR Integrated Sewage Treatment Plant is the Membrane Bioreactor (MBR), which is a new type of wastewater treatment technology that combines membrane separation technology and biotechnology organically
QDEVU MBR Integrated Sewage Treatment Plant is controlled by PLC.
- 1. The entire process of the membrane bioreactor adopts an automatic control system, greatly reducing operating and management costs.
- 2. The inlet pump runs automatically. When the water level in the bioreactor reaches a high level, the inlet pump stops running. When the water level drops to a low level, the inlet pump automatically starts.
- 3. Automatically start and stop the circulating pump according to the water level of the reclaimed water storage tank.
- 4. Automatically turn on and off the dosing pump, and the dosage can be adjusted as needed.
- 5. Automatically run the membrane cleaning program.
- 6. The motor is equipped with overcurrent and overload protection.
How to improve the cod removal rate of MBR membrane:
- 1. Design the operation process of the MBR membrane based on the inlet water quality. The higher the content of BOD and COD in the inlet water, the lower the design flux of the corresponding mbr membrane group.
- 2. Strengthen the pre-treatment process, and there will be sedimentation tanks and anoxic tanks in front of the MBR tank. To effectively remove the COD content of the final produced water, it is also very important to strengthen the pre-treatment water quality treatment process.
- 3. Adjust the sludge discharge amount of the MBR membrane. After a period of operation, the MBR tank will accumulate a certain amount of sludge. The excess sludge should be discharged as soon as possible using a discharge pump to avoid reducing the performance of the mbr membrane and the efficiency of cod removal.
- 4. New membrane for backwashing aeration. If it is a newly installed mbr membrane, due to the use of protective agents in the membrane components at the factory, it may cause a high COD content in the production water during initial use, and sufficient backwashing aeration is required
